Making Trading Easier, Part I: $aved Orders

Our Saved Orders tool helps you get prepared by giving you the ability to set up and save up to 50 trades for future use without actually placing them. Now we’ve made this convenient feature even better by allowing you to save orders by either quantity or dollar amount.

On the Saved Orders page (and the Saved Orders section on the trade page) the column formerly known as Qty is now the Qty/Amt column, allowing you to save an order as a dollar amount ($100.00) or as a quantity (20).

Making Trading Easier, Part II: Get the Greeks

Now you can get important option pricing information like Implied Volatility, Delta, Gamma, Rho, Theta and Vega by simply rolling your mouse over a particular call or put on one of our chains pages.

New Rollover Greeks are available on the following chain pages:

- Futures Call
- Futures Put
- Futures Call and Put
- Equity Call
- Equity Put

Making Trading Easier, Part III: Futures on a Roll

Futures traders can choose to Offset, Reverse or now Roll their trades directly from the Positions page.

The new Roll option will take your current positions and auto-populate the closing and opening trade into the spread form.

Float Like A...

Now you can stretch your strategic wings even further at optionsXpress.

New trade variations now available on our Xspreads and Multi-Leg trade pages might help open up a whole array of fresh possibilities:

Broken-Wing Butterflies – Construct butterflies with non-standard ratios such as 1:2:2 and 1:3:1

Unbalanced Butterflies – Set up butterflies with asymmetric (uneven) strike price differentials

Ratio Spreads – Enjoy additional free-form spreading options

Multi-leg option strategies are subject to multiple commissions. Profits may be eroded by the commission expended to open and close the positions and other risks apply.
